UvA team excels at Willem C Vis Moot Court

27 June 2016

The UvA team did an excellent job at the 23rd Willem C Vis Moot Court.

This year, the UvA team earned first place out of 311 teams in the general rounds! This is a great success, and it confirms that the students did a fantastic job this year, because in the general rounds all teams are judged the same way and under the same circumstances. In other words, the results in the general rounds are the most objective criteria for judging the students' success.

After earlier successes booked by UvA students, including a second place in Hong Kong for our statement of defence, an honourable mention for our statement of defence in Vienna, and Karmijn Krooshof's 'Best Individual Oralist' award, this is wonderful recognition for our student's efforts.
